People First Party – Illawarra & Southern Highlands Branch

Annual General Meeting & Christmas Catch-Up

Join us for our 2026 Branch Annual General Meeting and Christmas Catch-Up on Wednesday 18 November 2026 at 6:00 PM at Shellharbour Workers Club.

The primary focus of the AGM will be the nomination and election of our Branch Executive for the coming year.

Executive positions open for nomination:

  • Branch President

  • Vice President

  • Secretary

  • Treasurer

Nominations are now open.

If you are interested in nominating for any of these positions, please contact Branch President David Dimovski on 0421 140 157, or email ish@nsw.pfp.org.au with your first and last name and the position you wish to nominate for.

The meeting is open to all members and the public with free admission. Note: only members can vote in the election of the executive. A live stream of the meeting will be available but we do encourage people to attend in person.

Looking Ahead to 2027

The year ahead is shaping up to be a significant one for our branch.

Our goal is to continue growing the Illawarra and Southern Highlands into a strong and active regional presence for the People First Party.

Looking ahead, our priorities include:

  • Growing our membership and strengthening our local branch.

  • Supporting the broader libertarian movement in the lead-up to the 2027 NSW State Election.

  • Building our regional presence, community connections and grassroots networks.

  • Working towards early candidate selection in 2027 as we prepare for the 2028 Federal Election.

Achieving these goals requires people who are willing to contribute their time, ideas, experience and enthusiasm.

Whether you're interested in taking on an executive role, helping organise local events, engaging with the community or simply becoming more involved, there is a place for you.

You don't need to do everything, but everyone can do something.

As Gerard Rennick puts it:

“The world is run by those who show up.”

We encourage all members to attend, consider putting their hand up for a position, and be part of building the future of our branch.
