Standing up for Australia
The major parties have focused on themselves rather than solutions. We are a party of members, branches and volunteers building something better.
There is a branch near you
Every branch is run by locals, in their own community. Most meet monthly, all of them are open, and you are welcome to just come along and listen.

Your first $45,000, tax free
The tax-free threshold has sat at $18,200 since 2012. Rent, groceries and power prices have not.
People First would lift the tax-free threshold to $45,000 — and let parents split their income, so a family earning up to $90,000 between them keeps all of it, tax free.
Based on 2025–26 resident rates. Your income between $18,200 and $45,000 is currently taxed at 16c in the dollar — that is the part this removes. Excludes the Medicare levy, offsets and deductions.
