People First supports the use of energy sourced from within Australia that is Australian owned; this includes Coal, Nuclear, Gas and Hydro.
People First will abolish renewable subsidies.
People First will legislate that all Renewable projects post an Environmental Bond to cover remedial costs at the end of the projects life.
People First will drop all Net Zero commitments and leave the Paris Agreement.
People First will abolish the Petroleum Resource Rent Tax on offshore gas and instead replace it with a flat 10% royalty.
People First will encourage State Governments to have a gas reservation policy in place to ensure Australians do not have to import gas.
People First will create an Infrastructure Bank that can fund State Governments building new baseload power stations using Coal, Nuclear, Gas and Hydro energy.
Energy markets will be required to sell Energy in 24 hour bids rather than 5-30 minute bids.
People First will remove all funding and references to Climate Change.
