Immigration has contributed to Australia's success as a nation. The rate we are running now has not — it is pushing up the cost of housing, stretching essential services, and outpacing the infrastructure being built to carry it.

People First would cut permanent visas to 100,000 a year, end points-based visas and skills-in-demand lists, and require an employer to sponsor anyone coming here to work.
